ABOUT US

Greetings in the name of Jesus,

The PAOC history in Yorkton is a proud one, with many notable godly men and women, weeping over the city and taking up their place in response to the leading of the Holy Spirit and the call of God upon them. Many people have been saved and filled with the Holy Spirit throughout the years here, and many more have been affected by the ministry of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, in Yorkton.

Though the district needed to close the work in 2011, there was still a clear call of the Lord, that we were not to walk away from the city altogether. Those who sat on the district executive at that time, can confirm this is the case, as we prayed and discerned the Lord’s will for the city. At the 2013 District Conference in Regina and with the support and blessing of LifePoint Church in Lanigan, the district office, replanting work would take place.

In fall of 2014 we purchased a building on 244 Myrtle Ave Yorkton. It is not the Home and offices of the Yorkton DREAMCENTRE.

It is our desire to presenting Jesus's Gospel of the Kingdom with a strong social justice conscience as seen in Micah 6:8.
